I was tasked with providing a display solution for independent retailers. Small businesses with limited shelf space, who would tend to buy small-medium bags, and who wanted a tidy solution for cash wraps and point of purchase (vs. hanging the bags on a nearby rack).
So was born the adaptable acrylic tray.
The tray is clear acrylic, with the printing on the inside surface to avoid damage.
Designed with a double base to facilitate slots for the acrylic dividers (visible), and smaller, unseen inserts, which in turn allow this small tray to handle almost any assortment of small bags, clutches, or wallets the independent retailer wished to sell.

This structure was a go-to for a lot of programs.
Although more expensive than a standard club tray, the cabinet balances that expense with a greater durability and a much improved ease of stacking and storing.
Additionally, the boxes IN the cabinet are set up to be marketable as shoe boxes in case sell through is less than optimum.
It was EXCEEDINGLY optimum on this program, as we sold in the area of 250,000 ballerina flats via this structure in Sam’s Club.

This program was our first foray into using the cabinet structure.
Although the expense of the individual cabinets is greater than a more conventional tray, the ability to stack EASILY, and to get 6 cabinets per layer (vs. 4 trays per layer) allowed cost/benefit to balance out.
I've included a small schematic of the shopping arrangement in the upper right corner of the photo. If you'll notice, the pallet shops from ALL sides, making it ideal as a stand alone floor fixture, or an endcap. Branding and product available on EVERY facing.
This was a very successful holiday program, selling several hundred thousand units via this structure in Sam’s Club.
There were almost no units left at the end of the season. Sell through was in the high 90s.
This display was one of our first Mother’s Day programs. It incorporated the new (at that time) branding: script logotype, “relax at home” tagline, and customized photography.
As this was shipping to some of our prime retailers, we were encouraged to reflect that in our design work. Thus, a deeper blue for the “relax” callout, along with metallic ink spot channels in the photography and background art.
This display shipped in from China to prime retailers.
The display was fully pre-loaded, and packed in reverse order (base and side panels on top) so as to aid in ease of assembly.
A fully loaded display could be set up in approximately 20 minutes.
